Years 1 and 2- Forest School- Christmas Decorations and Hot Chocolate

Class: Year 1 Year: 2023 - 2024

We made a Christmas decoration using a piece of willow. We made it into a triangle shape and fastened it together with wire. We then chose which wool we wanted to use and some of us put a star on the top. We had to persevere as sometimes tying the knots was tricky. While we were making our decorations Mrs O'Neill got the water boiling in the Kelly Kettle. We remembered how to be safe around the fire. We made hot chocolate with marshmallows which warmed us all up.
