Year 5 2023 - 2024

Welcome to Year 5.

Miss Smith and Mrs Dexter are really looking forward to teaching Y5. The curriculum is varied, enjoyable and very interesting.

We have got some fantastic novels to read like, Street Child by Berlie Doherty, Goth Girl by Chris Riddell and Varjak Paw by SF Said. We will be doing plenty of problem solving and number skills in Maths. Our first History topic is all about The Anglo Saxons and Vikings and in Geography we will be learning about the UK.

We hope the children will be happy, more independent and further develop their love of learning.
