Year 5 2026 - 2027

Welcome to Year 5! 

Mrs Whitworth and Mrs Dexter are really looking forward to teaching Year 5 this year, supported by Mrs Cragg. 

Year 5 provides the children with a varied, enjoyable and challenging curriculum as they move further through Key Stage 2. Throughout the year, they will explore some fantastic novels, fascinating periods of history and exciting places around the world. 

We will encourage the children to become increasingly independent and responsible for their learning, while continuing to develop their confidence, creativity and curiosity. 

We hope that every child will enjoy the challenges of Year 5, make fantastic progress and continue to develop their love of learning.
