Year 5 2025 - 2026

Welcome to Year 5.

Mrs Whitworth and Mrs Dexter are really looking forward to teaching Y5. The curriculum is varied, enjoyable and very interesting.

We will meet some fantastic novels:- Street Child by Berlie Doherty, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by CS Lewis and Varjak Paw by SF Said. Our first History topic is all about The Anglo Saxons and Vikings and in Geography we will be learning about the UK.

We hope the children will be happy, more independent and further develop their love of learning.
