Class: Year 1 Year: 2023 - 2024

We practised tying a simple overhand knot with strawberry laces. When we could successfully tie the knot we tied it around a paper straw. When we'd practised trying the knots we could eat the strawberry lace!Then,we went into our nature area to look for any interesting natural objects.We found leaves,tiny berries, apples, feathers and spinning jennies.

We found a stick to tie our string onto. Then, we tied our objects onto the string.There was great perseverance shown.
