Year 6-Forest School-Hammers

Lesson: Learning Outside the Classroom

Class: Year 6 Year: 2025 - 2026

We listened carefully to the tool talk which is about all the rules which keep us safe when we are using tools. We had a glove on our helping hand, goggles and we made sure we were far enough apart from each other. We also practised how to hand a hammer to another person.We practised hammering some nails in then we made a picture using nails as the anchor points for the wool. Great imagination,perseverance and listening skills were on display.
