Year 3 - The Big Lent Walk, A Fantastic Effort

Class: Year 3 Year: 2025 - 2026

This week, our class has fully embraced the spirit of Lent through our participation in the Big Lent Walk. With determination, teamwork and a real sense of purpose, we are incredibly proud to share that we have already walked over 250km together!

Each day, we have taken advantage of the beautiful weather, heading outdoors to add to our total. The sunshine has certainly been a blessing, making our daily walks even more enjoyable and giving us the perfect opportunity to reflect, chat with friends and appreciate the world around us.

Everyone has shown great perseverance and enthusiasm, encouraging one another every step of the way. It has been wonderful to see such a positive attitude and a shared commitment to reaching our goal.

We are now setting our sights on an impressive 500km target, which we are confident we will achieve by next week. What an amazing accomplishment that will be!

A huge thank you to everyone for your generous fundraising efforts so far. Through our walking, we are raising money for CAFOD and supporting those most in need, truly living out the values of Lent.
