Year 3 Science - Light and shadow

Class: Year 3 Year: 2025 - 2026

In science we explored light and shadow, investigating how shadows are formed and how they change. By moving the light source closer and further away, we observed how the length and size of the shadow were affected. The children made careful observations and began to understand how the position of a light source changes what we see.
