Year 3 - Geography North America

Class: Year 3 Year: 2025 - 2026

In Geography, we explored atlases to learn more about North America. We carefully located and identified the flags for the 23 countries within the continent, developing our understanding of where each country is positioned. We then used the atlases to find and record the capital cities of these countries, practising key map skills such as using contents pages, indexes and grid references. This helped us build confidence in using atlases independently while deepening our geographical knowledge of the continent.
