Lesson: Learning Outside the Classroom

Class: Year 3 Year: 2026 - 2027

We gathered around the fire circle. We remembered how to be ssfe around the fires. We discussed what is needed to start a fire. Mr Corbett lit the fire and we watched the popcorn start to pop! It was like magic!

We also had time for our own child initiated learning, which included bug hunting, tree climbing, inventing our own games and digging. We had a lovely session review in the lodge.
