Year 3 English - BFG News reports

This week in English, we have been loving our work on The BFG. The children have been writing newspaper reports detailing the Bloodbottler’s break-in at the BFG’s home. They worked hard to include eye-catching headlines, formal language and key facts to report the event clearly. We then used AI to publish our writing and create professional-looking newspaper articles. The children used these published versions to proofread, edit and improve their own work. It was fantastic to see them reflecting on their writing and making thoughtful improvements.
