Year 2 History - Kings, Queens and Castles

Today, we explored the fascinating world of kings, queens and castles in our history lesson. The children were introduced to life in the past and began to understand why castles were built and who lived in them. Using a range of picture sources, we carefully observed details and discussed what we could see, thinking like historians. The class made thoughtful suggestions about who might have been in the pictures and what clues they could see.
