Year 2- Forest School- Wild Weaving

Lesson: Learning Outside the Classroom

Class: Year 2 Year: 2024 - 2025

This week we did some wild weaving. This is really good for developing our fine motor skills, creativity and imagination. We carefully put the rubber bands on the base and then used grasses, leaves and flowers in our piece of wok. Usually we do not pick anything but today we could pick a few things. At the end of the session we had a reflection, we told whoever was next to us what we liked about their work.

We also discussed the cotton tree seeds and how they are all being dispersed by the wind.
