Year 2- Forest School-Jingle Sticks

Lesson: Learning Outside the Classroom

Class: Year 2 Year: 2025 - 2026

We made Christmas jingle sticks. Our challenge was to attach the bell to the stick using a paper clip. There was also ribbon to cut and wool to tie. We showed patience, resilience and determination. Our imaginations ran wild when we decided what magic our jingle sticks might do.

We spotted the daffodils starting to grow and discussed how it's important to try not to step on them.

We found some interesting fungi growing on some dead wood, it's called "Jelly Ear "!
