Year 1- Forest School-Tying Knots

Lesson: Learning Outside the Classroom

Class: Year 1 Year: 2025 - 2026

We listened to a story about kind Mr Bear, he lives in the forest and helps all his friends but they started taking him for granted. We discussed how it's important to help others.

We practised tying knots in strawberry laces. Such concentration!

We then went into our nature area. Some of us did some bug hunting and we had some new identification sheets as last week someone asked Mrs Corbett to Google something to find out what it was!

Try to remember to bring named hats and gloves to school, especially on Wednesday.
