Westfield Junior School - Year 6

Welcome to the Year 6 weekly blog.

Year 6 have worked so hard on their SATs revision - we are all very proud of them! Please make sure that the children have a good rest this weekend so they are ready for their first tests on Monday. Good luck Year 6 - you will all be amazing next week!

RE

Stephen Served and Preached in The Early Church

In RE, we have shared the story of Stephen and thought about whether we would stand up for what we believe in like he did. We also discussed and reflected on why the ressurection is so important to Christians.

Topic

In PSHE, we have completed our My Happy Mind topic called 'Be Your Best!'. We have learned how important sleep is and how to get ready before our tests on Monday!

In History, we finished our topic on Crime and Punishment. We thought carefully about how crime, punishment and the police have changed over time. We wrote some amazing reports on the changes we identified.
