Welcome to the Year 6 weekly blog.
All of Year 6 really enjoyed participating in the rugby festival today!
This week in Year 6
History
In History we have continued with our WW2 topic. We have been learning about how the lives of civilians changed during WW1 in Britain. We researched rationing, the role of children and evacuees and wrote some amazing fact sheets based on our research.
Computing
To start our new coding topic, we discussed what is acceptable and not acceptable to say online. We explored how words could be interpreted and discussed how we should conduct ourselves online.
Geography
In Geography we explored our local area. We investigated how Longton has regional, national and global links!
