This week in Year 6
English

In English we have been learning all about WW1 poetry. We have thought about what life was like for soldiers in the trenches and shared 'Dulce et Decorum Est' by Wilfred Owen. We have been inspired by Wilfred Owen to create our own WW1 poetry.
Maths

This week, we have started our new topic all about angles. We have learned how to draw angles accurately using a protractor and complete a given shape.
RE

In RE, we have thought about how Mary is an important lady for Christians. We have also thought about the significant women in our own lives and written letters to them to thank them for their guidance and support.

In Science, we planned an investigation to find out how shadows change over the course of one day. We discovered that
In Computing, we continued our work on Tinkercad and learned how to manipulate 3D shapes on the work space. We investigated how to combine 3D objects and change their colour.
