Times Tables
Please keep practising your times tables. Everyone has their own targets, which the children should have noted on the top of their spelling sheet.

Maths practise – individual challenge.
Spelling Challenge – practise sheets have been sent home and there is a practise test on Sumdog.
Year 5 have had a great week of learning– well done Year 5!
In English Year 5 been drafting, editing and publishing a short story, using all the skills they have learnt over the year such as parenthesis, relative clauses, direct speech and complex sentences.
In Maths Year 5 have been re-capping place value of both large and small decimal numbers. They have also been converting measure from metric to imperial.
In RE this week, Year 5 have studied psalm 23 and discussed what spiritual truths lie within the psalm.
The whole class enjoyed the Dance From the Heart session and put on a great performance.
Year 5 ended the week with researching Manaus, a city in the Amazon in geography. Well done Year 5 on surviving the warm weather and trying so hard despite the heat!
