Times Tables

Please keep practising your times tables.  There are several tests on them in the next few weeks.

Sumdog

Maths practise – individual challenge.

Spelling Challenge – practise sheets have been sent home and there is a practise test on Sumdog.

Please also continue to use the fluency booster on sumdog.

We have had another fantastic week of learning in Year 5.

In English this week, everyone has been trying very hard in their reading, spelling and grammar tests. We have now moved on to preparing a special piece of writing for a display in school.

In Maths, we have been revising place value, as well as completing arithmetic and reasoning tests.

In art, we painted our background colours for fashion clothing that we will be putting onto our figures.

Finally, Year 5 enjoyed their taster day at All Hallows – activities included dance, music on the computers, rounders and meditation.

 A great week of learning where everyone gave 100% effort – well done!
