We have had another fantastic week of learning in Year 5.

In English this week, everyone created a fact report about swallows as well as writing as Hero, our character from the novel, describing his migratory journey from England to Africa. Year 5 worked incredibly hard on this, showing off their writing skills.

In Maths we have been learning about the median, mode and range. Next week, we will be returning to place value and number topics.

In RE we have continued to explore the bible and its many books and discussed how different people can help us interpret the messages within them.

We also had a fantastic sports day - everyone gave it their all and tried hard. Thank you to everyone that came to watch and joined in the parent’s race!

The week has ended with a science experiment where we learned about reversible and irreversible changes to materials. A great week of learning Year 5 – well done!
