Year 5 have had a fantastic week of learning and have put in 100% effort – well done!

In English the class have been practising blending action, dialogue and speech, writing as both Lucy and as a spy for the Queen of Narnia.

In Maths Year 5 have started their new topic, practising adding and subtracting on a number line and using partitioning. Well done Year 5!

Year 5 have continued to explore the theological and cardinal virtues in RE this week and have been discussing how to apply them in practical habits every day. They all enjoyed creating role play scenarios about this and acting them out.

In computing, the class have been practising searching, using a wide variety of search engines. They have been researching what type of results show in each and discussed how to look out for trusted information online.

Finally, in History this week, Year 5 explored what an Anglo Saxon settlement would look like and designed their own.
