Year 5 have had a fantastic week of learning and have worked incredibly hard – well done!

In English, everyone has been drafting, editing and publishing a persuasive letter from the Queen of Narnia, using ambitious vocabulary. Everyone has also been working hard to present their work beautifully.

In Maths, the class have been working out how to add mixed fractions as well as adding and subtracting tens, hundreds, thousands and tens of thousands to numbers. Well done Year 5!

In RE, the topic this week has been the theological and cardinal virtues and how to practise the habit of doing good things in life.

Finally, the week ended with their UK topic in Geography. They were able to identify  various ordnance survey signs, as well as locate the UK’s major cities.
