English

 We have now completed ‘The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane’. We have been writing as Bryce and discussing the love and loss Edward has experienced.

Maths

The term has ended with the children developing their skills in geometry and particularly enjoyed making 3 D shapes from nets.  

Well done Year 5!

Science

This week the children have been experimenting with different materials to find the most suitable material for a raincoat. Our investigations into materials will continue next half term.

RE

Finally, we have spent time delving into the lives of Mary and St Francis of Assisi, in order to explore discipleship in life. Year 5 then wrote about how they could use their gifts in life, to be a good disciple.
