Year 5 have enjoyed lots of indoor and outdoor learning this week and have worked really hard – well done Year 5!

In English Year 5 finished their novel, Edward Tulane, and ended by writing a poem as Edward.  They then performed their poem outside for other members of the class.

In Maths Year 5 have been developing their interpretation skills by analysing various types of tables and charts and answering questions about the data they showed. They also continued their geometry topic by making 3d shapes and working out the volume of them. There were some quite tricky shapes but everybody persevered and gave 100% effort.

In RE this week, Year 5 have been exploring discipleship by learning about the lives of Mary, St Francis and St Clare. They were also able to reflect on how they could be good disciples in their own lives.

Finally, Year 5 finished their art houses and successfully created intricate features for their homes, working in small groups collaboratively.

Well done Year 5 for a fantastic week of learning!
