We have had a super learning week in Year 5.
In English we have been writing diary entries as Edmund, a character from our class story. We are also reaching the climax of our Narnia novel where the queen and Aslan have finally met at the stone table.
In Maths we are continuing to practise addition and subtraction using the column method. We have started a new topic on statistics – reading time tables.
Our topic in RE this week was all about loving God and loving all people. We worked in groups to discuss and formulate ideas on how we could help the vulnerable in our communities.
Finally, in Geography, we used atlases to look up the key cities of the UK and also marked on key mountain ranges.
