Year 5 have had a very productive week – well done Year 5!

In English Year 5 have been continuing to read the class novel, ‘Varjak Paw’ by SF Said. They have also been planning and creating non-chronological reports about Russian Blue cats .

In Maths Year 5 have been multiplying and dividing by 100 and 1,000. They have also been re-capping their arithmetic methods.

In RE this week, Year 5 have been investigating the meaning of sin and conscience. They have considered how to react in certain scenarios, deciding how to make the right choice.

In Art, the class have spent time learning about David Hockney and his style of art. They have then created a Hockney style coloured landscape, using pastels.

The whole class enjoyed Science week by joining in a lesson on farming and making up their own science inventions.
