Year 5 have had a super week of learning– well done Year 5!

In English Year 5 have been writing about Hero the swallow’s journey from England to Africa. They have also created some detailed fact reports on swallows.

In Maths Year 5 have been re-capping long division. They have also been re-visiting place value and estimating on a number line.

In RE this week, Year 5 have been discovering and reflecting on the messages they get from the bible stories. They have been connecting them with what God wants them to do and who can help them interpret the bible.

In science the class have continued to investigate different materials and performed an experiment to test different materials and whether, once processes like heat, mixing and sieving have been applied, the changes can be reversible or irreversible.

Finally, Year 5 have enjoyed taking part in mindful yoga this week.

Well done Year 5 on another great week of learning!
