We have had another fantastic week of learning in Year 5.

In English this week, we have all enjoyed reading about Harry Potter’s potion class, where he makes the perfect potion and wins a bottle of liquid luck. Everyone wrote their own instructions for a potion and also wrote a short story about Harry, Ron and Hermione meeting a magical creature. The quality and length of writing was amazing.

In Maths we have been revisiting division. Well done Year 5!

In DT everyone designed and created a CAMS toy - there were some fantastic creations!

There has been lots of practising for our special production of ‘Joseph, next week. Everyone in the class has been given a book of lyrics to learn over the weekend.

Finally, Year 5 finished the week by all taking part in a rugby festival at school. We also made magic wands in outdoor learning, using natural resources.

Another great week where everyone tried their hardest – well done!
