Year 5 Blog 20th January 2023

Date: 20th Jan 2023 @ 4:06pm

Welcome to your Friday Blog

We have had a super week of learning this week!

Well Done Gif - GIFcen

We have loved reading more of our novel Street Child. We wrote some super descriptive pieces with Mrs Wood and have been working hard on thinking about how our sentences sound when they are read.

In maths we have been reviewing our mental maths strategies and working on our number facts. Everyone is really working on their explanations and reasoning. Well done Year 5!

In Art we have been exploring the art of William Morris. We have been exploring his textiles looked at how we might replicate his work.

In French, we conjugated a regular -ER verb (manger - to eat) for the first time, then practised adding the correct endings for a range of subject pronouns. Well done, Y5. Great grammar!
