TTRockstars challenge

Sumdog challenges
- A spelling challenge based on the words above
- A comparing and ordering angles challenge
This week in Year 4
In English, we discussed the features of instructional writing.
Following this, we used our imagination to plan and write a recipe for our very own chocolate inspired by Willy Wonka.
We were very proud of our creations and think Wonka would be too!
In Maths, we learnt that an angle is a measure of a turn.
We then identified acute and obtuse angles, and also compared and ordered angles from smallest to the largest.
In RE, we explored the fact that St Peter was the first Pope and discussed what Peter’s life teaches Christians today.
In PSHE, we started our new topic – ‘relate’. Throughout the topic, we will learn to understand and celebrate our differences.
We began by learning what it means to ‘stop, understand and consider’.
In Science, we named the basic parts of the digestive system and described their functions.
We also found out how 'poo' is made in our digestive systems. Take a look at the pictures in our gallery.
In History, we studied different Greek pots with pictures on.
We considered what the people in the scene were doing and wearing and what we could see in the background.
From the pictures, we then inferred what life was like during Ancient Greek times.
In art, we finished our still life collages. Have a look at the pictures in our gallery.
