This half term everybody has really grown up and worked hard every single day.

As a class, we have been focussing on being kind - making sure everybody feels loved and accepted.

Summer of Kindness: Kind Deeds to Do By Age | Inspire Kindness

We loved dressing up as our favourite book characters for our very own World Book Day. We even wrote stories as our character.

We finished reading our novel Journey to Jo'burg. We really enjoyed learning lots of new words and also learning about the history of apartheid in South Africa.

In maths we finished our learning about fractions. At first we thought fractions were really tricky, but after lots of practice we are now experts. We realised that our times tables and division facts can really help - it is so important to know our number facts.

We really enjoyed our geography learning this half term. We have been learning about the continent of Africa. We learned that it is a very diverse continent. Next time we have a chocolate bar, we will wonder if it came from Ghana - they are the second largest producer of cocoa beans in the world!

In art we have been learning about the artist Antoni Gaudi. We love that he uses lots of different colours and shapes.

Have a fantastic half term everybody! You deserve to have a rest, have lots of fun and be very very happy every day!
