Welcome to your first blog of Year 3!

We have had a super week settling in and getting used to the new classroom! It has been lovely seeing everyone back after the summer holidays looking smart in their Summer uniforms.

This week in Year 3

English

In English this week we have read Stickman by Julia Donaldson. We wrote some fantastic descriptions and even created our own version! 

Maths

In Maths, we started revisiting place value and number. Everyone has shown great knowledge and asked some great questions in class.

RE

We started our RE topic – ‘Creation and Covenant’.

This week we read the creation story from Genesis and created some lovey artwork.
