This week in Year 3
We’ve had a fantastic week in Year 3 – full of creativity, hard work and fun!
This week, we’ve been busy with our Enterprise Week project and have made some brilliant wooden pencil cases. The children worked so hard and showed great teamwork and creativity. These will be on sale at the Summer Fair for £3 each or two for £5. Come along and support our budding entrepreneurs!
In English, we’ve been finishing off our Special Person writing. These wonderful pieces will be on display during Open Morning for everyone to enjoy. Check out our gallery to read some of our amazing work. We are so proud of the children’s thoughtful and heartfelt writing.
In Maths, we’ve been learning all about 3D shape and working hard to use our new vocabulary accurately. The children have been brilliant at recognising and describing shapes. Well done, Year 3!
We also enjoyed the Rock Steady concerts on Friday. A huge well done to all our Year 3 rock stars, you were fantastic on stage!
In History, we learned all about Ramses II, the longest ruling Pharaoh of Ancient Egypt. We explored some of the incredible monuments built during his reign, including the breathtaking Abu Simbel temple. Super history learning all round!
