Year 3 Friday 13th February 2026
Date: 13th Feb 2026 @ 1:23pm
Welcome to your Friday Blog.

We’ve had a fantastic end to the half term in Year 3.
In English we have continued enjoying Toro! Toro! where we met Uncle Juan and retold the part of the story when Antonito attended his first bullfight. We used brilliant sentence starters to make our writing flow and ambitious vocabulary to bring the action to life.

In maths we have been learning how to use a vertical number line to solve tricky division problems. Everyone showed super perseverance and resilience. Well done Year 3.
In geography we explored native animals of North America. We watched nature clips and used our computing skills to design posters on Canva, so be sure to check out the gallery.

This week in art we completed our ‘Telling Stories Through Sculpture’ topic by painting our creations and backgrounds, then proudly shared them with Year 2 who are reading Esio Trot!
On Tuesday, we performed our final gymnastics routines to music, making sure our sequences included six different elements.
