Happy Friday everybody.

We have had a lovely week in Year 3. We loved showing off our amazing work on Thursday afternoon. Thank you for the amazing turnout. It was lovely seeing the children show off the work they are proud of. We will send home some books at the end of year so don't worry if you missed out.

We have finished planning our wellbeing afternoon. We have brought home the ingredients which we need to buy. We spoke about changing ideas if we need to if shops don't have what we need or we change our mind. Our wellbeing afternoon will take place on Thursday 14th July at 2pm. We are looking forward to preparing afternoon tea for somebody, teaching them some exercises and doing some mindful colouring.

In our PSHE this week we have been talking about different ways to be active on a daily basis. We know that it is important to be active because it keeps us fit and healthy and also helps us to feel happy and confident.

We had a very exciting morning on Wednesday for our Moving up morning. We spent some time in Year 4 and loved it.

Home Practice

Reading

Read out loud to somebody every day for 20 minutes. Talk about what you have read.

Counting

Count out loud in:

4s from 0 to 48 and back again.

40s from 0 to 480 and back again.

Times Tables

Choose a x table you don't feel confident with out of 2, 3, 4, 5, 8. Practise every day.

Spellings

Have a practise on the spelling training on Sumdog. It will give you the spellings your child needs to work on. 5-10 minutes practice a night is plenty.

DT

Remember to get your ingredients for your afternoon tea.

Have a fantastic weekend!
