English
We started our final book for this half term: Stone Age Boy. We had two focuses this week: character speech and setting descriptions (using expanded noun phrases). We found that one of our main characters didn't speak very much as she was from the Stone Age!
Maths
We added two-digit numbers together to make 100.
We also collated data and drew bar charts.
P.E.
We focused solely on backstroke.
R.E.
We read 'Laudato Si' and compares its teachings to Genesis. We wrote sentences describing how we can look after our world, and we drew some lovely pictures for our RE display.
Computing
We made our own bar charts on the iPads.
History
We compared the Bronze Age to Iron Age.
Art
We used the charcoal to make an open-ended piece of Art.
Forest School
We remembered how to be safe around the fire. We used the Kelly Kettle to boil water and we had some delicious hot chocolate with marsh mallows.
