This will help with understanding the text and learning new words.

Remember you will get a sticker on your book mark for every book you read!

Spelling:

Please practise these spellings for your quiz on Friday (13.06.25):

beautiful     colourful       careful         grateful        useful       hopeful                  powerful       cheerful         peaceful    awful

Sumdog:

Please complete the times table challenge by Friday (13.06.25).

We will quiz your knowledge of the 2 times tables in a muddled order.

Year 1/Primary 2: Stella and the Seagull (Paperback)

English

This week we started our new book, Stella and the Seagull. Year 2 drew and wrote about the main events of the story in order on a flow diagram.

They noted down interesting vocabulary about Stella and the Seagull and used these words in their own sentences and wrote a fantastic diary entry about Stella's day.
