Home Practice
Reading: In Year 2, children should read for at least 15/20 minutes every night and talk about the book. This will help with understanding the text and learning new words.
WE HAVE NOTICED THAT SOME CHILDREN HAVE NOT CHANGED THEIR BOOKS RECENTLY.
A FEW MINUTES OF READING EVERY NIGHT REALLY MAKES A DIFFERENCE. THANKS.
Remember you will get a sticker on your book mark for every book you read!
Spelling: Please practise these spellings for your quiz on Friday (10.10.25):
door floor poor because find kind mind behind child children
Sumdog: Complete the 'Addition and Subtraction Facts' challenge.
Counting: At home, count in 2's, 5's and 10's forwards and backwards.
