Sumdog: Complete the fractions and spelling challenges.
Counting: Count forwards and backwards in 11's. What do you notice?

English
Year 2 are really enjoying our new book, Harry And The Jaggedy Daggers by Jan Fearnley.
We wrote about how the Jaggedy Daggers destroyed Harry's boat and designed our own tea cup boats.
Maths
The children have been working on fractions this week.

RE
Our Bible story was The Good Samaritan.
We thought about the qualities the Samaritan had, and made our own medical kits to help us use similar qualities in our daily lives.
PE
The children played mini-rounders games in groups of 4.
We have got some excellent throwers, catchers and batters in Year 2.

Computing
The children have been working through their coding lessons.
They are thoroughly enjoying it and learning useful computing skills.
D.T
We will be having our D.T day next week. The children will be making vehicles just like the one above.
Please could your child bring a cardboard box into school on Monday and any other useful items like toilet/kitchen roll tubes.
