You could say them out loud or write the numbers down. Look at the pattern 0, 2, 4, 6 and 8. What do you notice?

English
We learnt how to use speech marks. We wrote about our favourite part of the story.
SPaG
We have been learning the rules about homophones. Wo which are sound the same but have different spellings.

Maths
We started our new leaning on place value.
We spent time adding and taking 10 from multiples of ten, but also from other 1-digit/2-digit numbers. For example, 50+10= or 34+10=
We have also been ordering groups of numbers and using the tens digit to help work out the largest or smallest numbers.
We learnt that if the tens digit is the same, we then look at the ones digit to help us decide.
Science
We observed and drew pictures of different bulbs. We are going to plant them next week and watch them grow.

PSHE
We have moved on to the Celebrate section of My Happy Mind which is all about our character strengths and spotting them in other people.
RE
The children have been learning about Jesus' Baptism.
We have also made mobiles about wrong and right choices and written lovely sorry prayers.
