Home Practice
Reading:
In Year 2, children should read for at least 15/20 minutes every night and talk about the book.
This will help with understanding the text and learning new words.
Remember you will get a sticker on your book mark for every book you read!

This week, we have been doing reading, maths and SPaG quizzes.
The children were fantastic at working hard and doing their best, well done Y2.

The children learnt about the fruits of the spirit and how we can show these in our everyday lives.
Science
We observed our flowers which are growing outside our classroom.
Geography
We had great fun decorating African masks.
P.E
In PE, a visiting coach from South Ribble Tennis Centre taught tennis skills and games.
Year 2 were amazing, they displayed great listening, balance, catching and hitting skills.
Art
During our lesson, the children created beautiful pastel pictures of nature for our class assembly - God's Wonderful World.
They also coloured and decorated the letters for our banner - live wisely, think deeply, love generously.
Parent Assembly
The children really were fabulous in their class assembly - God's Wonderful World.
They read clearly, sang beautifully, danced greacefully and their art work was fantastic.
