Welcome to your last blog of 2025!
We have had a brilliant week in school.

Reading: Enjoy reading a few books over the holiday.
Sumdog: If you would like to, you could work on some of the games but there will be no challenges over the holiday.

English
We finished writing our own Christmas storybooks. We took great care with our handwriting, spelling and punctation.
We read them to Reception and they thoroughly enjoyed the stories.

Maths
We learnt about capacity and which containers held more or less liquid than others.
On Wednesday, we all looked fabulous in our Christmas jumpers, delivered our Christmas cards and enjoyed our Christmas lunch.
On Thursday, we were in Church for the Christingle service, which was beautifully led by the Year 6 children.
On Friday, we had our final Golden Assembly of the term where we celebrated all our stars of the Autumn Term.
Our stars of the term are,
Emma-always doing her best with her learning.
Freya- a super example to all.
Reuben-a superb listener.
Jesse F.-a fabulous learner.
Geneiveve-A kind, thoughtful friend.

We wish you all a happy and Holy Christmas.
Thank you for all your gifts and cards.
Thank you for all your great support.
