Home Practice

Reading:

In Year 2, children should read for at least 15/20 minutes every night and talk about the book.

This will help with understanding the text and learning new words.

Remember you will get a sticker on your book mark for every book you read!

Sumdog:

Please complete the multiplication and division challenge by Friday (18.07.25).

Counting:

Spend time counting in 3's forwards and backwards to 60 or even 100. Look at how that links to the 3x table.

Times Tables:

Please keep learning the 2, 5, 10 and 3 times tables (and division facts) ready for Y3.

Follow this link to play 'Hit the Button' and 'Tables-Teaser'.
