Welcome to your Friday blog for this week.

We have been really enjoying all our learning this week again and we are now used to all being back together keeping the Golden Rules. We have enjoyed our playtimes in the sunnier weather and have been great friends to each other.

Our story this week was The Tiny Seed by Eric Carle. We all loved following the story of the seed and all the obstacles it had to ovecome before it could start to grow. We have done some super retelling of the story with Mr Campbell and lots of great writing. We could also use all our Science learning we've been doing with Mrs Quilliam to help us to understand the seed's journey.

In R.E. we have continued our learning through our topic of Change. We talked about being kind to each other.

On Tuesday we had some quiet time as it was a National Day of Reflection. We thought about what we could look forward to.

We all enjoyed our French with Mrs Quilliam and our Music with Mrs Winter.

Mrs Corbett and Mrs Anderson joined Mr Campbell for P.E. this week. There was super skills development in rolling, throwing, running, dribbling and catching.

In our Maths learning we were looking at doubling and halving numbers. We also played games which involved using our number facts and taking turns.

Sumdog

We have set only 2 challenges for your Sumdog Practice this week. Well done to those who are still answering all your questions. We realised we set a little too many last week so we have limited the maths to 50 and spelling to 20 questions. All your children can access this learning!
