Welcome to your new Friday blog. Here you will find out all about our week in school and all the fantastic learning we have seen. It has been lovely having everyone back together and we have been so impressed with how everyone has settled back in.

This week we have been reading I want my hat back by Jon Klassen. We have loved reading this story and the children have really enjoyed acting out the different parts and reading their stories (virtually) to Reception.

We have continued to investigate seeds and growing with Mrs Quilliam. Super science from everyone.

On St Patrick's Day, Mr Campbell brought in his fiddle and played some tunes. We talked about St Patrick and asked some great questions about Irish music.

Home Practice

Read every day for at least 10 minutes. This regular reading is the key to progress in all areas of the curriculum.

We have set 3 challenges on Sumdog. Completing these will help prepare you children for the learning they meet in school. All challenges will be linked to the spelling patterns/Sounds and maths concepts we cover.

Keep checking our class page for new galleries and blogs.

Have a fabulous Red Nose Day and a great weekend!
