Phonics

Today we will be looking at our air, ear, are sounds. Watch the videos below and then tune into Seesaw for your Phonics learning today.

English

We will be helping Scaredy Squirrel get some sleep today by showing him what we do to get a good night's sleep. Use the sheet below or do your writing on some lined paper today. Visit Seesaw for today's lesson.

Handwriting

Visit Seesaw for your Handwriting practise. All you need is your pencil and some lined paper.

Maths

Counting Pick any number between 0  and 15. Practise counting on and back in 1's and 2's. Use the number lines to help you see the jumps.

Number Facts Today we are going to think about ways to make 10. We need to be able to recall these facts.

The Friends of 10 song. Click here.

Find 10 objects and put them into 2 groups to show all the ways to make 10.

Your grown up can then say a number from 0 to 10,do you know the other number ?

They say 2, you say 8 and so on.

Using the pictures talk about what is happening and why you think people are happy?  How are they sharing God’s love?  Use speech bubbles to show what people could be saying to each other as they celebrate together. Talk about how we will hopefully be able to gather with our parish family soon.

P.E.

This term we are going to be practising our fundamental skills. We hope you enjoyed battleships last week.

Today we will play battle ships and our new game of In the Box. Watch the video instructions here and read the card attached below. These games help develop the underarm throwing skills and throwing to a target skills.
