Reading: In Year 1, children should read for at least 10/15 minutes daily and talk about the book/new words they come across.

This will help them become more confident and fluent readers.

Book changing day is on a Monday each week.

Please remember to send book bags in every day as we will read with your children on a regular basis.

Spelling: This week's tricky words are: Mr, Mrs, people, and.

Please practise reading and spelling these words. We will have a quiz at the end of next week.

Sumdog: Complete the number challenge (one more/one less)
