English
We read our new book 'Leaf', which is about a lonely bear who scares other animals just because he's a polar bear. We described how Leaf was feeling, used the days of the week to write a diary entry, wrote a sorry letter from the animals and wrote our own Leaf story.
Maths
We halved larger numbers, quartered numbers, and identified a quarter of a shape.
R.E.
We based our RE on the Wednesday Word as it tied into our current learning. We read a passage about Jesus naming Peter as one of His disciples, and trusting him with spreading the Good News.
P.E.
We used netballs to develop our bouncing skills. Some of us even tried bouncing the ball with one hand!
We also took part in Dance From the Heart.
Art
We used pastels to add detail to our minibeasts.
We also made the most of the glorious weather and went outside to sketch what we could see.
Computing
We created our most complicated code to date! We instructed our sprite to talk and move.
Science
We used pastels to create an Autumn picture.
History
We pretended to be different explorers. We asked them questions about their lives.
