English

We started our new book, The Lumberjack's Beard. We found that the lumberjack had chopped down a little bird's tree, which caused him to be very angry! We wrote in role as the bird, both as a group and independently.

Maths

We identified coins to 20p, and we made amounts using 1p coins.

See our pictures here.

R.E.

We recapped learning from our previous RE branch. We started to order Jesus' important life events.

In our class collectives, we read The Good Shepherd and discussed how we can follow Jesus.

P.E.

We practised the running and egg-and-spoon races.

We also had our first tennis session with Joe!

See our pictures here.

Art

We sketched different birds and added detail by shading.

See our pictures here.

Computing

We focused on how to safely access websites. We learnt how to type a website address into the search bar.

Geography

We identified hot and cold places in the world. We also pinpointed the location of the equator and discussed how it affects our climate.

P.S.H.E.

We started our Engage module, we talked about setting goals.

Forest School

We looked at alll the new growth in the nature area. We looked for mini beasts, climbed trees, made dens and a stream, did some wool crafts and blossom cooking.
