English
We celebrated David Attenborough! We researched facts on the iPads, wrote a group fact file and our own individual fact file.
We have also been reading lots of real and nonsense words, ready for our phonics screening check in June.
Maths
We identified missing numbers on a number line to 20 and solved doubling questions.
R.E.
We recognised that Jesus asked His disciples to spread the Good News after His ascension. We discussed how we could spread Good News to others.
We also created stained glass window artwork, drawing inspiration from the window in St. Peter's Basilica.
P.E.
We developed our hand eye co-ordination.
Computing
We solved trickier coding tasks using a repeat block.
Science
We planted sunflower seeds in our outdoor area.
Geography
We examined the various adaptations that animals have developed to cope with hot and cold climates. We then sorted animals by their habitat.
