We read 'Little Polar Bear', which is about a young polar bear named Lars who floats away from his home on an iceberg. We described the setting of the story and inferred Lars' feelings using speech bubbles.
We also completed our reading assessments.
Maths
We continued to halve quantities.
We also completed our arithmetic and reasoning assessments.
R.E.
We described the meanings of 'parish' and 'community'. We wrote questions for Father Michael, and then he came into the classroom to answer them!
P.E.
We bounced a ball to a partner and rolled a ball through a target.
Art
We continued to sketch minibeasts, this time adding more detail.
Computing
We used two new blocks - jump and draw. Our coding skills are evolving each week!
Science
We used our senses to identify any signs of summer.
